Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI tools effectively.
- Utilize Azure Synapse for data integration and advanced analytics.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of other Microsoft tools such as Excel, Azure, and SharePoint.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with business processes and workflows in a corporate environment.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Frequent sitting and operating a computer.
Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or office materials.
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
Physical demands requirements are at levels of those for sedentary work.
